Independent was conceived by Elizabeth Dee and Darren Flook and developed in conjunction with creative advisor Matthew Higgs and co-directors Jayne Drost and Laura Mitterrand. For 2012, architect Christian Wassmann, in addition to conceiving exhibition spaces, will create a site-specific environment on the roof of the building hosting a café and a selection of publications.
